In an effort to make more time to dedicate to building unique content, I, like most of you, need some $$$ in the bank. One of the many, many ways you can help support this effort, besides just showing up and leaving comments and such, is by supporting our affiliate partners and the great products/services they offer.
If/when this project starts to make enough, I can start scaling back “regular” work and start focusing more on providing more content. That’s the hope and dream and goal.
---GetUpside- GetUpside is an app based service that provides you the opportunity to get cash back(or how I view it, a discount) on purchases made at participating gas stations(gas only, as far as I know), grocery stores, and restaurants. The cash back varies, from like $0.01/gallon of gas purchased to 20% or better at restaurants. This, I've found, is a relatively easy to use and fantastic service to use and the locations in my area are not really out of my way. I will put the caveat that it is very dependent on your area and the locations that participate but there is some benefit to it especially if it's at places you visit often, like your regular gas station. So far I've made about $8-$10 or so from this but this is because I'm forgetful and don't utilize it as much as I should. That's my fault but it is a great service.
Download it yourself and see if it's for you. Don't forget to use my code DUB2323 if you you try it and we both get a bonus.
---Bits of Stock- Bits of Stock is very much like Bumped but instead has offers from different partners that works exclusively by linking you debit/credit card. The selection with Bits of Stock is admittedly not completely suited for my tastes but they have improved over the year or so they have been out (I was in the last part of the closed beta testing). The newest round of picks is much better and includes some more brands I like, like Hulu. They also have a Discord channel with access to their support team. They have also had promotions to earn bonus rewards a few times that has been a real plus. Earnings from Bits, inclusive of bonuses, is around $30. Not too shabby I'd say.
The best part? You can use both Bumped and Bits of Stock. I've got a couple of overlaps in my purchases that I get credit for with both. Free stocks? Yes, please.
--Webull- Webull is a commission-free stock brokerage. Essentially how it works, you sign up and trade stocks for no upfront fee. Webull has really stepped it up in offerings of many different features as well: fractional shares starting at $5, recurring deposits from a bank account, a learning center, and my personal favorite, Stock Lending Program. I am not a financial expert(I do plenty of dumb things without help, thank you) but this is a great tool for dipping your toes in the water and learning about stocks and getting some skin in the game with some companies you believe in or just think will continue to grow and make money.
If you are interested in getting a bit of stock trading experience, I like Webull and recommend you try it out. While the interface is a lot, it provides a lot of information and gives a lot of insight into the markets activity(buying/selling activity and such).
--Robinhood- Robinhood is the standard bearer when it comes to commission-free stock trading. They have most of the same features as Webull, plus or minus one here and there, while also having their own take. The user interface and design is a bit better than Webull, in my opinion, but that's because they are doing 2 different approaches to the same concept. Webull focuses on data and trends in the market while Robinhood is a lot more simplistic with its data but offers easy to find articles relating to companies, if they have been in an article recently. Robinhood is definitely a fine platform for doing trades. It is very easy to use and learn. Maybe a little too easy if your not careful about your choices.
Whichever your preference, I leave both of these options open for those that want to explore stock trading and investing. My personal mantra on it is I only put money in them I am 100% not going to need or require to pay my bills. This means it can go up and down and sideways and zig-zag and in circles and I won't loose sleep. It's not my retirement or "quick money" scheme.

Now all of these apps and companies, I've used for well over a year or more and have had a great experience with. The Affiliate/Referral bonuses they offer is like a cherry on top. Please consider using my links if any of these sound like they could be a good value for you. I only want to share those services that I like, use, and think will bring some value to you.
Thank you for reading and if you made it to here, your awesome.
*Some or all of these are affiliate links and if you sign up/purchase/use their services, I may receive some compensation for it. Certain products may be for services that provide investment platforms and offer securities for sale. Invest at your own risk and only invest money you can afford to loose.
